Taguig City. The Dell User Forum 2016: Digital Imperatives in the Philippines kicked off today at the Shangrilla Hotel in Bonifacio Global City (BGC), Taguig City. The two day event will discuss, among others, best practices for digitization and the business essentials in implementing cost-efficient and scalable technology.
The plenary session opened in the morning with Dell Philippines country manager Christopher Papa and Dell's regional managing director Chue Chee Wei giving the welcome remarks. Mr. Wei noted and congratulated Dell Philippines for becoming the number 1 in server unit shipment for the first quarter of 2016.
Channel partners, end user customers locally and from the region as well as Dell's regional representatives were present at the event, held for the first time in the Philippines.
The two-day forum consists of plenary sessions and simultaneous breakout discussions tackling various topics like Dell's OEM solutions, Intel's digital transformation and software defined storage solutions.
Intel, Microsoft and channel partners like. MSI-ECS and MSI also held exhibits during the event.
